 Peacock design in Aari work : A simple peacock design was made with green silk thread and golden zari thread. First out line made with sugar beads. On the feather part, y filling stitch and button hole stitch was used to fill . On the body part, chain stitch was used to fill. At last out line was given with zari and green silk thread. This is  a simple jimmiki design This jimmiki was made with sugar beads and mothi.  Top part of jimiki:  Top part was made with circle kundan stone , and one layer Zardhosi and one mothi size 3. Bottom part: Bottom part was made with Gobi or thilagam shape kundan stone. One layer was sugar beads was given.  For half part mothi was stitched.  For hanging portion,  one moths size 3 and one sugar beads was stitched with 0 size  needle . Trace of the jimiki

Aari basic stitches : Here I had listed the basic stitches in Aari. Beginners can download this list and practice all the basic stitches. 

Tambour stitch: This flower was stitched with chain stitch. Tambour stitch is a filling stitch with chain stitch. It is very important stitch. We use this is most of thread work blouse. First, out line was made with chain stitch, then same followed for completing full design. Tricks for chain filling :    1. When stitching second line, in the curved shape we have hold the needle in slanting position and we have to make stitch slightly under the previous line. So all the stitches will be close and there will no gap between each lines. 2. We have to make small chain stitch in curved shape. Trace of flowers :

Pattern stitch  In this heart shaped image, button hole stitch was used to fill. We have draw lines in the shape for neat finishing. First out line was made with zari Then from the top, button hole stitch  was used to fill the design. When doing second and other line, button hoe stitches should be punched above the previous line. It is also called pine apple stitch or sathai stitch. Trace of Heart shape:

Zigzag filling stitch This flower motif was made with Zigzag filling stitch and chain filling stitch.  One petal was filled  with zigzag filling stitch in box pattren. Alternate petal was filled with chain stitch with sugar bead at the end.  Trace for the flower.  It is very easy flower motif. Everyone can practice it using the trace.
